Website and Digipak Example of our Genre

This is the Arctic Monkeys website, who are a very well known indie rock band. The Layout is very simple, it has the latest album release. It also has the latest news on the homepage, as well as the latest tweet from the band's twitter. The website also gives fans access to a discussion forum, photos, videos and also a merchandise store. They use the font of the bands name from the lates album release, to show that the website is up to date.
This is the latest album from the band, it is called AM. The front cover shows something similar to a heart beat sensor, and the line continues to the back of the album. Only 2 colours have been used, black and white. The layout of the album is very simple, but yet still effective, and shows that the band concentrate more on the music than how good their CD looks.
Tjis is the website for the popular band Imagine Dragons. It has a navigation bar at the top like most websites, but as you scrol down, the pictures change and then you go to things like the latest news, a merch store, and even latest tweets. They also have a discussion forum so then the fans can connect to each other as well as the artist. It looks a lot more creative and fun than the arctic monkeys website.
This is the 'Night Visions' album cover. The cover of the album could tell a little story, or has meaning, because it looks very majestic, but we don't know what it means. The clouds and mist also makes it look mysterious. The back cover is just the track listing and that's it. For our digipak, I want to make the front cover have a little story like this one, but also have a more interesting back cover.
